Miracle Kit

Because May is National Scrapbooking month, CTMH has come out with a special Miracle Kit of papers, stickers, brads, ribbons, tags, and specialty die cuts.  I couldn't resist sitting down and making a little 6" x 6" mini-album of our little trips to Salt Springs.  It's our special little picnic place that we've been going to for forever.  It has beautiful waterfalls that you can hike up and we have enjoyed going there since we were dating.  I tried to use mostly the Miracle Kit for the layouts, the nice thing about these colors in this kit is that you choose one color from the pictures you're doing, and use it to coordinate all the pictures, this makes it either "girly" or "guy".  I chose chocolate to keep it natural, and added a little chocolate ribbon, and chocolate ink, and added a little brown stickles for some shine. I hope you like it.

New Veranda Scrapbook Pages

I just love the veranda paper, and thought I'd do the scrapbook pages that come in the scrapbook workshop.  They are of my own wedding back in 92'  I loved learning how to make all the gorgeous flowers.  If you'd like to learn how to make these pages, ask me about the Veranda workshop.  I'm hoping to get a monthly club going where we can meet a different person's house each month to learn new techniques.  Check out my page on http://www.karenfullam.myctmh.com/.

Veranda Gathering

I'm having my first gathering Tuesday night at Donna Benjamin's home.  I'm very excited (and nervous).  I'm hoping it will be a great start for my new business.  This is the little make and take we will be doing.

Tea Party Protest Signs

I got to host a sign making party for the tea party last week.  It went really well.

We used the cricut of course, as well as CTMH stamps.  We used a very vintage patriotic collection.

New Career

I am embarking on a new career with Close To My Heart. I will be selling and teaching classes on scrapbooking. I am very excited about this new direction in my life, I know it will be exciting and fullfilling to help people preserve their heritage by making many different styles of scrapbooks. It will also be fun to show people how to make cards so that they can connect with friends and relatives.
