From December 19, 2011 to January 31, 2012 Close to My Heart is having a preview for the new Spring Summer Catalog that goes live February 1, 2012!  One of our NEW products is a great little Block set that will make you want to ROCK THE BLOCK!  To order your set of blocks before the new catalog comes out, simply head over to my website to find out how.  Just order $25 worth of product from the currant fall/winter catalog, and you get the block set and a fabulous stamp set to decorate it with for only $15!  A FANTASTIC deal!

Now for the fun!  Let's see how over 30 consultants decorated their block sets! If you are coming from Wendy Coffman's blog, you're on the right track.

I had a really fun time with this project.  It's like making a little mini-book that can sit on your coffee table, so the little ones can play with it.  It just begs for lots of fun layouts!  It's the perfect gift for loved ones too.  I'm giving this one to my mother, and stole several great pics off of facebook to complete it with all of her grandsons.

Each of the photos I used are special to mom and dad.  This one is of her and her sister, Esther, sharing their "hat thing"  It was taken at Aunt Sally's wedding.

This one was taken at Camp Bayouca this year.  For their 40th Anniversary, mom and dad took most of their grandsons to Camp Bayouca for a week of fun.  It was a great bonding time for all of them.  This was taken during some of the "down" time.

This one is of them with their oldest grandson, my son, Rex.

Here's another Bayouca one, this one is up in the rafters of the cabin.  They used to take pics of my cousins and us kids up in the rafters, and now it's the next generation's turn :0)

This is my big brother Joe and his family.  They went to go see the Christmas train this year.

For dad's birthday, they went horseback riding, and had tons of fun.

This shows how I decorated the sides of the container too.
It was a lot of layouts to do, but I'm sure she's gonna love it.

I mainly used the Dreamin'  and Roxie paperpacks with the great stamp set that came with this.  I did use the Art Philosophy cartridge to cut out the papers for the cute sayings, that always makes things easier.  I did a lot of sponge daubing on the edges too, I think that makes it look more pulled together.
Now let's hop on over to Allisa Chilton's blog , to see what fabulous artwork she has made for us!

If you're your looking for the new Spring/Summer Catalog, send me an email.  I'm giving away a catalog with every $25 purchase.  So you can get the new Block set, the E size stamp set that comes with it for only $15, and a new catalog with your $25 purchase! Call me at 570-396-3080 with your order!
