March Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  We will be featuring March's SOTM, which is Potential, a set of 8 stamps.  If you have come here from Judy's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants here .

This month we have over 50 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

This is a card I made using the Florentine paper pack.  I used creme brulee and twilight inks to match the paper. And I added a pewter badge button for some bling.  The badge buttons are super easy to use because you just peel the backing off of the sticker on the back, no prongs like brads, or eyelets, just fun and easy.  I also used the Art Philosophy cartridge to cut out the large blue piece and the 2" scallop circle punch for the smaller circle stamp of the set.

Now "Hop" on over to Vicki's Blog to see her creativity shine! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the March SOTM is only available until March 31st!  Contact me (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp for just $5!

How to make adorable fairy tale flowers!

This video is done by Connie MacFarlane, a fellow CTMH Consultant.  She did a wonderful job demonstrating how to make some beautiful roses, that are very similiar to the Prima ones you can buy in the craft stores.  Her website is Paper Pleats and Ribbon Roses,  she shows a beautiful card she made with these.  I love that I can now walk by the Primas in the store without drooling over them because I can now make them myself in any color I want!  I love my Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge!  Remember, from March 1st thru March 31st you can get the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge for FREE when you join my team!

St Patrick's Day is coming!

I'm only about 1/8th Irish, but I LOVE St. Patrick's Day.  All the festivities, parades, and greeeeen!  So much fun.  Not to mention the cornbeef and cabbage dinner.  I love throwing the cornbeef, cabbage and potatoes into the crock pot and smell them cooking the rest of the day.  It's the one day of the year that there's only two types of people-- Those that are Irish, and those that wish they were!

In getting ready for the festivities I'm planning a workshop to make a fun Irish door decoration, and a cute little Irish pin so you can "wear your green."  Here's a pic of what we'll be making.  The scroll says "Bless your little Irish heart and every other Irish part."  While the pin is the classic "Kiss me I'm Irish!"

How to color the new seam-binding ribbon

This is a very informative video done by fellow consultant Connie Mac Farlane from her blog, Paper Pleats and Ribbon Roses.  It tells you several different methods for colorizing your ribbons to match your layouts.  Thanks for all your work Connie.  Fantastic Job!
