My project this month is a simple Post-It cover.  It is simply an olive piece of cardstock cut and folded around a Post-It pad like a match box with a simple band of colonial white cardstock around it.  I decorated the olive cardstock by randomly stamping the leaf on it. and then put the yellow sunflower over top of the band with dimensional tape.  So easy!

I used our CTMH markers to color the sunflower, get them while they last....with our next catalog, they will be retired.   I also used some bronze glitter glitz for the center of the flower.  I also used the sentiment in the Friendship Bouquet stampset.  "Plant a seed of friendship; reap a bouquet of happiness."  Sorry if my camera's a little blurry.

Now "Hop" on over to Jean McNulty'sBlog, Stampin' Maui to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! This month we have 38 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using the "Dotty For You!" paper pack and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

For my 2-page layout, I used the Grand Finale layout from Close To My Heart's Imagine book.  I love how easy these books make it to make a fabulous layout quickly and easily.  I also used the licorice opaques to add a little black bling to each of the little pinwheel flowers.  I added a quick little tutorial on how to make these cute flowers.
Click Here to skip the tutorial and move on to Sheri's Blog

These little pinwheel flowers are pretty easy to make.  First of all you need a thin strip of paper.  Keep in mind that however wide your paper is, your pinwheel will be twice that width.
My strip ended up being about 1/2" x 10 1/2 long.  I use the Martha Stewart scoreboard to score it every 1/4".
After it's scored, you fold it accordion style so it ends up looking like this.
The next step is to adhere it to itself, making sure you overlap the two ends together.  You may need to cut off one fold to do this.
When this is done you should have a nice accordion folded circle.
Before you actually hot glue your pinwheel down, it makes it easier if you play with it a little to get it to cooperate.  As I tell the girls, you have to be tougher than the paper.  It can be a little tricky to get the sides to fold in on themselves into your circle.
Once you've got your paper trained to go down nicely, then you can put your hot glue down and put your little pinwheel into the glue.  You have to hold the pinwheel down in a circle shape till the hot glue sets a little.  Make sure you don't stick your finger into the little blob of glue that pops up.  Ouch!  I know from experience.
Once the glue cools down a little, but not completely, you can pull the little glue blob off with your fingers so it will be easier later to put some bling in the middle.
This is what your back should look like when you're done.
And this will be your front!  I added the black opaques to the middle to cover up the glue, but you can add anything you like, like letters, flowers, stickers, or ribbon, just use your imagination.

Montrose Bible Conference Craft Weekend

I had a great time this weekend with the ladies.  Scrapping and playing and in general being waited on and pampered.  No dishes, no cooking, no cleaning (except for the scrapbooking tables).  The food was fantastic, and the company even better.  The speaker was incredible and did several dramas on the 3 Marys (the mother of Jesus, of Mary and Martha, and Magdeline) very powerful messages.
Here's a few pics for everyone to be jealous of :0)

This corner of the room had a lot of knitting, tatting, crocheting, embroidering, and even Scherenschnitte going on.  Obviously some good partying going on here!

 Our daring leader!  Becky!

It wasn't all playtime though, these ladies are some really hard workers.  We had a game that for every 12x12 layout that you completed, your name was put on a post-it and stuck to the podium...every hour or so a random post-it was picked and that person won a prize.  This was the podium by the end of the weekend!  They completed over 240 layout!  Awesome work ladies!
